About Us Situated in downtown Franklin, NH at 361 Central Street. We are a multi-dealer shop located four miles west of Interstate 93. The 10,000 square foot building has three floors and room for about 75 dealers. Originally built as Holmes and Nelson Department store in 1905, the brick building retains all of its original charm, complete with soaring ceilings covered in the original pressed tin. The building has immense plate glass windows assuring great visibility from the street. Located on the Route 3 route, from Concord to Laconia - over 14,000 cars pass by the store a day! The building has been completely restored, refurbished with a state of the art security system and sprinkler system. The building retains its original emporium feel and is big, bright and airy, which is a great complement to the antique market. May 30, 2003 - 4:00-8:00 pm to preview the building renovations of the Shepard Block in downtown Franklin NH. This historic block, part of the Franklin Falls Historic District has been restored to its original grandeur and has been updated for current use. Bennet Phillips, IIDA, has restored the building in conjunction with the Division of Historical Resources for the State of New Hampshire and the Franklin Business and Industrial Development Corp. The restoration of the block is considered a juncture for the City of Franklin, which has implemented programs to attract local businesses into the city center. The building has been converted into a retail Antique Market, which currently has 30 Antique dealers, with the ability to house a total of 75. On average the newly created business has been attracting 150 to 200 visitors to the city weekly, pulling visitors from all the New England states. The project was spear headed by Christine Fonda, NH's Historic Preservation Officer. This State and Federal Organization oversees the restoration and renovation process of structures that have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ms. Fonda was instrumental in helping to guide the painstaking restoration process from start through completion. It is open 7 days per week in the summer months and currently has 30 active Antique dealers.
